The Beacon Way

At Beacon Learning Studio, our courses are designed to support homeschool families through hands-on, meaningful learning. Our semester classes run August through December, while mini-mesters offer shorter 6-8 week sessions.

Some courses, like Innovation Lab and Reading Programs, build skills over time through a spiraling curriculum, so students benefit most by attending the full session. Other classes, such as Art Studio or Time Travelers, may be enjoyed as a full course or as a drop-in enrichment option.

Because every child learns at their own pace, our age and grade groupings are flexible and intentionally overlap. Parents know their children best, and we are happy to help with class placement, evaluations, or adjustments as needed.

Certificates

All students who take a Beacon Course will earn a Certificate of Completion, as well as feedback to highlight the academic journey. Certificates show mastery of targeted learning objectives and are linked to TEKS in the course. This can be helpful in recording your child's learning progress and journey, as well as highlighting academic accomplishments.
